The Imenyi Ancient kingdom in Isuikwuato, Abia State is gearing up to  bid a befitting farewell to their iconic King and Foremost Chairman of South East Traditional Rulers Council Enyi-na-Obiangwu of Imenyi Ancient Kingdom) Isuikwuato, Abia State, HRM, EZE SIR DR. EZO UKANDU, JP. The foremost traditional ruler and industrialist transited on January 8, 2024 at the age of 87 years. Police Orders Unsealing Of LGA secretariats, withdrawal of deployed personnel with immediate effect

The Nigeria Police Force, Rivers State Command, has directed that the Local Government Area Secretariats to be unsealed. In the statement by the spokesperson of Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Okoko, said; "In view of the recent political developments in Rivers State, the newly deployed Commissioner of Police, CP Bala Mustapha hereby convey the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, for the immediate withdrawal of all police personnel previously deployed to seal and safeguard the Local Government Secretariats in the state. This decision is in line with the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to ensure neutrality and the smooth functioning of democratic institutions.
